Description:

Shitenno takes in place in Old Japan, where the players are the 4 legendary Samurai, nicknamed Shitenno, who fight for the first shogun of the Tokugawa dynasty and unify the Empire of the Rising Sun in early 17th century.

Shitenno requires subtlety and anticipation of the players. There is no direct fight in this board game but fine and strategic mecanics of troops sharing and area control in the Provinces.

During the sharing step, the players have to be able to refuse the tempting offers of their opponents and, then, share the ressources cleverly in order to twart their insidious plans.

During the placing step, they must use cunning to maintain their domination and get the bonuses they want.

The rules of the game are easy to learn. And whatever the number of players is, the games are always intense and interesting.
